Did You Know? – Vickie Marx

While living in Orange County back in the 1980s, Vickie Marx was a professional dog trainer. One day to Vickie’s surprise, she was contacted by the daughter-in-law of Gale Storm, who starred in My Little Margie in the 1950s. Vickie was hired to train Mrs. Storm's standard poodle Jolie. Mrs. Storm found delight in playfully teasing Vickie and they formed a wonderful friendship. Vickie found such pleasure in training Jolie and he was housebroken and obedient within six weeks. After such success, Gale’s son Phil asked Vickie to train his poodle as well. Vickie then went on to train other celebrity dogs over her 40 plus years career.
