Did you ever wonder how the 2014 Sun City Shadow Hills Monthly Maintenance Assessment was set at $217.00?
Your maintenance assessment is set through a fairly lengthy Budget Process. Prior to the final vote of the Board of Directors to set the assessment amount at the November Board Meeting, several things take place.
Each Department here at SCSH such as Lifestyles, Safety, Golf, Food & Beverage, Emergency Preparation, etc. all submit their requests to Management.
Management then puts them all together into one large spreadsheet and sends it out for the Board of Directors to begin it’s first review and discussion at a study session.
You have your opportunity to see and observe the formation of the budget at these Study Sessions, the first of which will be held on October 20, 2014 in the Montecito Clubhouse. For more information, click here.
If needed, the Board may schedule a second study session based on information and comments from the Finance Advisory Committee, Department Heads, other Committees and Homeowners.
