The purpose of the Information Advisory Committee is to provide residents with accurate information in a timely manner. There are currently six members of the committee: Ken Foster, Gary Paff, Mary Lee Neithold, Marc Goldberg, Phyllis Cohen, and Bob Firring. Gary Paff was recently appointed the new Chair of the IAC. Our Board liaison is Agi Kessler. Each committee member is assigned a specific area to cover: landscape, security, finance, design review, food and beverage, communications,rules and regulations, etc.
The Committee is responsible for providing information to other homeowners through: the community news website at www.scshca.com; the free Sun City Shadow Hills Phone Apps available at both the iTunes and the Google Play store; the Info TVs at Montecito and Santa Rosa Clubhouses; our Sun City Shadow Hills YouTube Channel; our podcast channel; and through the brand new newsletter email blasts.
Here is a summary of our activities in June:
1. 81 resident questions were asked and answered via hot-topics@scshca.com or Ask A Question.
2. 42 articles were researched, written, and posted on the community website.
3. Monday Morning Newsletter Email Blastswere initiated. Three were sent out during the month.
4. Six new podcasts on our community and surrounding areas were completed in June.
