Ramp closures will take place on I-10 at Jefferson Street January 11 - 15. The purpose of these closures is to allow placement of new roadway pavement at the new on/off ramp locations.
Closure Schedule
Date: Monday to Friday. January 11 - 15, 2016
Time: 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Closures: Full closure of EB on-ramp and off-ramp at Jefferson St. and full closure of WB on-ramp at Jefferson St.
Note: Friday closures will not be implemented except as a contingency to complete work delayed by weather events to keep the project on schedule.
Detour for closure of EB I-10 On-ramp at Jefferson St.
- Go east on Varner Rd. to Monroe St.
- Turn right at Monroe St.
- Turn left at the EB I-10 on-ramp
Detour for closure of EB I-10 Off-ramp at Jefferson St.
- Go east on I-10 and exit at Monroe St.
- Turn left at Monroe St.
- Turn left at Ave. 42/Varner Rd. back to Jefferson St.
Detour for closure of WB I-10 On-ramp at Jefferson St.
Continue on Varner Rd. to Washington St. on-ramp.
