Last month the President of SCSH Veterans Club, Tom Hutson, was visiting the USO at the Palm Springs airport and noticed that there was not an American flag flying there. He returned to Shadow Hills and conferred with the Veterans Club Board who decided to donate a flag, pole, and mounting provisions to the USO. After several discussions with the airport authorities, the USO finally got permission to mount the flag which is now flying. A great Holliday gift.
