As the premier active adult community in the desert, the responsibility of serving your owners is a great honor. Desert Resort Management began servicing Homeowner Associations here in the Coachella Valley in 1987. As we approach our 30th anniversary and with more than 175 employees,
Desert Resort Management’s contribution to the economy and to the success of luxury and lifestyle communities in the valley has never been stronger. Desert Resort Management serves only communities in the Coachella Valley from our local office in Palm Desert.
Our local executive team is dedicated to only our local client base and each lives full time in the Coachella Valley. Your local management team consists of the following senior members:

- Keith Lavery – Executive Vice President, Onsite Operations and Finance
- Tad Black – Vice President, Maintenance Services

- Maria Guffey – Customer Service Manager
- Michelle Johnson – Manager, Escrow Services
Our role in servicing Sun City Shadow Hills will be to provide back office support for the onsite team in the community. The dedicated team working there will continue to be your primary contacts; Ceasar, Rich, Tyler, Mark, Ozzie, Connie, and Chet and the balance of the staff there will all remain in place.
Our task is to help them support you better, when that service solution is working properly you will not know we exist. What you will experience is a staff who love their work and appreciate the company they work for. That quality of experience is the goal of our team in Palm Desert and the goal of the dedicated staff at Sun City Shadow Hills.
We are planning a meet and greet for the community in March after the annual election. A date will be forthcoming in the next few weeks. Much of our team will be present and we hope to meet you all there.
