Burglary and Thefts in the Valley (Part 2)

Just recently I sent out a notice regarding an increase in residential burglaries and thefts here in the Valley.

Unfortunately, that activity continues to be a problem with two more communities reporting several burglaries, thefts and stolen vehicles. So far we have not experienced these problems here at Sun City Shadow Hills but we are by no means exempt.

I would encourage everyone to be aware of their surroundings at all times. If you notice anything out of the ordinary; people who don’t seem to belong or vehicles driving particularly slowly through a neighborhood, notify security. If you notice a “new” vendor at a neighbor’s residence call them to make sure they belong. If at any time you fear for your safety or the safety of others call 911.

We don’t need to be paranoid about these things, but we do need to step up our personal awareness concerning who is on our property. The safety and security of our person and property is everyone’s responsibility. Let’s be good neighbors and look out for one another and keep these punks out of SCSH.
