• All vehicles must be out of respective areas by 7:00 am and may return after 7:00 am the following morning OR WHEN BARRICADES HAVE BEEN REMOVED.
• Please have irrigation sprinklers off from one day before and one day after each move in.
• The cleaning process involves power blowers and sweepers that causes a nuisance dust. Please make sure all doors, windows and car windows are closed.
• Do not walk or drive on wet seal coat.
• Please be careful when turning vehicle wheels, as the seal coat will remain tender for approximately four (4) weeks. Avoid turning weeks while vehicle is sitting still
• Please follow all detour signs and construction crew instructions
• Please be aware that there will be some detouring, and crews working in the roadways
• Please note the site map showing the areas and scheduled dates for the seal coating.

Overnight parking will be permitted on Streets and Sun City Blvd. for the duration of the project. Please contact the Facilities Maintenance Department at 760-345-4349 ext. 2401 for questions regarding specific accommodation and assistance with gaining access to your home.

The Santa Rosa pool and spa will be closed on Tuesday, February 20, 2024, to perform annual water feature sandblasting and maintenance.

The pool and spa are scheduled to reopen on the same day, Tuesday, February 20th. The pool is scheduled to open at 2:00pm. The spa will open at approximately 3:00pm, or as soon as the project is completed.

Stop For Safety
Phase 3 Has A New Star-Studded Three-Way Stop Sign!

Get ready to Stop for Safety at the intersection of Avenida Estuco and Calle Zavala in Phase 3. We are installing two new Stop Signs on Wednesday, January 31st, to create a three-way safety stop where Avenida Estuco and Calle Zavala intersect (see map below).

There will be A-frames with amber lights to grab your attention and ensure you notice and make a full stop at the new stop signs. Please drive cautiously through Avenida Estuco and follow the posted speed signs.

This is a great reminder to always make a full stop at all stop signs, inside and outside our community.

The restriping of the street lines for Sun City Blvd (Phase 1, 2, 3) will begin on Monday, January 8, and is scheduled to be completed on Friday, January 19.

Update: Avenida Sombra will be completed later in February after the seal coating project.

The reopening of the Phase 3 Dog Park will be delayed to Monday, December 25. The additional days will permit for the roots of new winter rye-grass to fully developed allowing for complete turf coverage of the entire park. We thank you for your patience during the annual over-seeding process.

The contractor has completed the installation of the new pool deck underground drain system and concrete deck. The newly installed concrete is currently in the curing process and is expected to be fully cured by the week of November 20. The contractor is estimated to begin the installation of the Kool Deck overlay on Monday, November 20. The installation will require two weeks to complete. The Montecito Outdoor Pool is projected to reopen on Monday, December 4. Any updates to this timeline will be provided via on-site notices and notifications on the SCSH website.

Due to unforeseen maintenance circumstances, the asphalt contractor's asphalt plant remains temporarily closed.

The repaving of Part 2 of the Asphalt Project has been tentatively rescheduled to Monday, November 6.

Due to the previous work completed on October 30, which included the removal of the gates vehicle sensors, the Camino San Gregorio gates will remain closed. The contractor will be installing new gate sensors when the street is repaved on November 6. The gate is scheduled to reopen Tuesday, November 7.

Reminder, this week’s trash pickup for the affected streets will be on Saturday, November 4.

The Phase 3 large dog park closure has been extended. The delay is due to unexpected necessary drainage and minor details. It is now tentatively scheduled to reopen on Thursday, July 6, 2023.

The Santa Rosa pool will be closed for routine maintenance and the planting of (2) large palm trees, beginning Thursday, May 11, 2023 – Friday, May 12, 2023. The Santa Rosa pool will re-open on Saturday, May 13, 2023.

The ongoing landscape median project in Phase I along Sun City Blvd. will proceed to the median just before the canal after Camino Santa Juliana. The landscape renovation project is expected to be completed by Friday, April 7. During this time, segments of the eastbound traffic on Sun City Blvd. will be reduced to one lane. Directional signage and traffic control will be placed at sections that are under landscape renovations. Please be aware of crews working in these areas and use caution when driving through the work zones.

Fall Color Planting Selection
Update, 9/17/2022

Vintage Landscape will be removing the Summer Color Flowers in preparation for planting of the Fall Color Flowers. Once the Summer Color Flowers are removed, the soil will be tilled, the irrigation system checked and fertilizer will be added in preparation of the planter beds and pots for the Fall Color planting. Fall Color planting will occur in early October, weather permitting.

The selections for the Fall Color are geraniums for the inground planting and petunias for the planter pots.

The cleaning and resealing of the Santa Rosa Pool Deck is schedule to commence on Monday, September 12. The Santa Rosa pool will be closing Monday, September 12, and reopening on Monday, September 19. The closure will ensure that the cleaning and resealing of the pool deck can be completed as quickly, safely, and efficiently as possible. During this time, the Montecito Pool will be opening during regular operation hours.
