Did You Know? – Vickie Marx

While living in Orange County back in the 1980s, Vickie Marx was a professional dog trainer. One day to Vickie’s surprise Gale Storm, who starred in My Little Margie in the 1950s, daughter-in-law contacted her.  Vickie was hired to  train Mrs. Storm's standard poodle Jolie. Mrs. Storm found delight in playfully teasing  Vickie, and they formed a wonderful friendship. Her standard poodle Jolie was such a pleasure to train , and quickly was housebroken, and learned her obedience all within six weeks. Gale’s son Phil asked Vickie to train his poodle as well.  Vickie went on to train other celebrity dogs  over her 40 plus years career.
