The official Resident Group "Concerned Homeowners of Shadow Hills" (CHOSH) held a community forum for all residents Saturday evening, September 24 at which the Mayor of Indio, Glenn Miller gave a State of the City presentation called "Indio on the Rise." The Vice Chair of the Indio City Planning Commission, Joan Dzuro, was also on hand to present and answer resident questions about the future plans for Indio as well as volunteer opportunities.
The ballroom was nearly full, the presentation extremely informative discussing the Jefferson Interchange, the Monroe Interchange to follow, all the businesses that are coming to our city and the fact that Indio is now "The Music Capital of the World." The follow up questions from our residents from the floor were intelligent and thoughtful.

The Mayor also stated that he would like to hear from all residents -- so CHOSH has provided a place at the conclusion of their website article for you to ask questions and make comments.
CHOSH would like to thank the CHOSH volunteers, Jack and Gwen Miller, Carol Wilson, Tom Hutson and Andy Perler, who helped to make this event so successful. CHOSH would also like to thank the residents who came to be informed and especially Mayor Glenn Miller and Vice Chair, Indio City Panning Commission Joan Dzuro.
