City of Indio Announces Road Repavement Project

INDIO, CA (October 13, 2017) – The city of Indio’s Public Works Department will be repaving two neighborhoods from October 16 to 19, 2017. Measure X funds will be used for this project. Residents are required to move vehicles on the street and will experience road closures during street grinding and repaving operations. Any vehicles that are not moved will be towed. Work will take place from 6am to 5pm. 

Calhoun St. and Dr. Carreon Blvd.

The neighborhood generally located east of Calhoun St. and south of Dr. Carreon Blvd. will have pavement ground on Monday, October 16 and repaved on Tuesday, October 17. 

Hopi Ave.

The neighborhood on Hopi Ave. from the west end of Cahuilla Park to the west terminus of Hopi Ave. will be repaved along with the five cul-de-sacs that branch off of Hopi Ave. to the north side.  The pavement will be ground on Tuesday, October 17, and the repaving will be on Wednesday, October 18 and Thursday, October 19.
