The Board understands the importance and the need to conserve water. During General Session on September 26, 2022, the Board agreed to not penalize homeowners who choose to have their lawns go dormant and not reseed. However, lawns must be continue to be maintained, trimmed, cut, and kept manicured.
Please note that Coachella Valley Water Authority and Indio Water Authority have rebates available if you would like to replace your lawn with desertscape or artificial turf. Please remember that a Home Improvement Application must also be submitted for this project. You may view those rebates at the link below:
