The following closures are scheduled to take place on I-10 at the Jefferson Street Interchange between May 11 and May 22, 2015.
CLOSURE 1
DAY-TIME CLOSURE: EB I-10 on-ramp at Jefferson Street

Purpose
To allow construction crews to perform earth moving operations
Detour
- From Jefferson Street, go east on Varner Road.
- Turn right at Monroe Street.
- Turn left at the EB I-10 on-ramp.
CLOSURE 2
NIGHT-TIME CLOSURE: WB I-10 on-ramp at Jefferson Street

Night of Wednesday, May 13, 2015
10:00 PM to 6:00 AM
Purpose
To allow construction crews to place k-rail
Detour
- From Jefferson Street, go west on Varner Road.
- Turn left onto the WB I-10 on-ramp at Washington Street.
CLOSURE 3
NIGHT-TIME CLOSURE: WB I-10 off-ramp at Jefferson Street
Date/Time
Nights of Wednesday, May 13 and Thursday, May 14, 2015
10:00 PM to 6:00 AM
Purpose
To allow construction crews to place k-rail
Detour
- Continue west on I-10 and exit at the Washington St.on-ramp.
- Turn right at Varner Rd.
CLOSURE 4
NIGHT-TIME CLOSURE: WB I-10 number 2 and 3 lanes at the Jefferson Street off-ramp
Date/Time
Nights of Wednesday, May 13 and Thursday, May 14, 2015
10:00 PM to 6:00 AM
Purpose
To allow construction crews to place k-rail and switch traffic to the new temporary WB I-10 off-ramp
Detour
No detour is necessary.
