This holiday season let’s take a moment and recognize that we are a community of GENEROUS, BIG HEARTED people. We honor traditions together. We celebrate together. And we support holiday outreach together.
Recently many of our residents were inspired by the Menorah Lighting Ceremony held December 2 at the Montecito Clubhouse. Attendees were led in prayer, enjoyed the performing ensemble of our own Community Singers, the Shadow Aires, and the music of our community Ukulele Ensemble.
The stunning Christmas trees in both of our clubhouses are an ever-present beacon of the JOY and festivities this time of year brings. The beautiful manger displays reminds us of the LOVE and GRACE of the season.
Many of our chartered clubs and resident groups are hosting holiday themed events and open houses this month. Check The View for dates and times as well as the online calendar of events.
Once again, the SCSH Veterans Club is sponsoring Toys for Tots. This is an annual initiative of the United States Marine Corp.
You are invited to support Toys for Tots by donating a new unwrapped toy. Toys can be dropped off throughout the community. Last year our community collected over 1200 toys.
