Every year, the County of Riverside, along with the Coachella Valley's nine cities, honor senior citizens 65 years of age and older who have inspired others through their volunteerism and active support of our lives here in our desert communities. This annual event is now in its 27th year of honoring these unsung heroes for their ongoing contribution and dedication to improving our communities.
Of the 11 unsung heroes selected this year, Nettie Washington from our community has been selected to represent the City of Indio!
Ticket prices for the awards dinner begin at $30, and over 600 attendees are expected at his year’s 27th Annual Senior Inspiration Awards Luncheon to be held on March 22. The ballroom doors will open at 11 AM and the program begins at 11:30 AM and continues to 1:30 PM at the Palm Springs Convention Center on 277 North Avenida Caballeros in Palm Springs.
