TONIGHT - MONTECITO BALLROOM - 6PM - MEET THE MAYOR OF INDIO, GLENN MILLER
Do you think commercial lights are something you want shinning in your back yard?
Does the traffic flow that will come from the new Jefferson Interchange that is opening sooner than expected, concern you?
How about a high rise apartment building built adjacent to your back wall?
Have you been looking for a safe place to ride your bike outside the community and you can't find it? Are you in favor of the tax revenue generating CV Link?
What about the farmer behind the Shadows? Were you happy with the no fly problem this year? Can we do that again?
Would you like to see a downtown Indio that looks and is more like Old Town LaQuinta? A safe, close place for fine dining and to see some entertainment?
What kind of shops, stores, restaurants would you like to see right here in Indio? El Paseo is a long way to drive. The closest Trader Joe's is 9 miles away -- wouldn't it be nice to have one closer? Maybe even one you could safely ride your golf cart to?
Are you worried about traffic issues with the Desert Trip Music Festival in October? Did you have trouble getting tickets?
The City of Indio is growing and changing. Your quality of life here in SCSH is a function of that growth and change.
