Slurry Seal Meeting

There will be a meeting to discuss final points on the slurry work in Phase 3 on February 5, 2018 at 10:00 AM in the front half of the Ballroom at the Montecito Clubhouse.  Everyone is welcome and Kim Fuller will give homeowners the answers posed to the engineering companies that were consulted about different concerns.

We have met with one of the engineering companies on site to have the slurry work inspected and to answer questions about everyone’s concerns. That inspection concluded no deficiencies in industry norms for installation of the slurry or paint. The inspection also provided answers that the current marks on driveways are not from the slurry material, but are from tire marks, oil, and deposits on the road from automobile traffic.

This inspection will also lead to a recommendation for crack repair work not completed last year in parts of Phase 3. I will give more details at the meeting. The Contractor’s work is completed as far as we know, so this meeting will answer any outstanding concerns and then discuss how we will move forward in the future.

If you have any concerns about the work done in phase 3 please let Kim Fuller know, so it can be investigated right away. Without any new comments, we will be releasing final payment soon, so please let us know asap.
