Today the Indio Police Department swore-in three new officers. Pictured from left to right with Cheif Washburn:
- Officer Josue Hernandez joins our department as a full time police officer after serving 5 years as a volunteer with both the Cadet and Citizens Helping Indio Police (CHIP) programs.
- Assistant Chief Tully comes to our department after serving over 23 years at the San Bernardino Police Department and achieving the rank of Lieutenant. Assistant Chief Tully served in a variety of special assignments to include K-9, SWAT, and as a member of the Distressed Neighborhood Grant Team. Additionally, he was Watch Commander and oversaw many units such as Professional Standards and Investigations.
- Officer Reiley Godfrey comes to our department after serving as a park ranger for the Downey Police Department.
