Unmanned Gates

Friendly reminder:

Recently it was brought to my attention that a vehicle without a transponder will wait at an unmanned gate until a presumably unsuspecting vehicle with a transponder pulls up behind or alongside the waiting vehicle, but still within range of the gate’s sensor, thereby causing the gate to open and allowing the vehicle without a transponder to exit. This is a security issue that needs to be addressed.

If you see a vehicle that is waiting to exit at or beside the unmanned gate, please do not pull up behind or alongside that vehicle. Your transponder may be close enough to activate the gate’s sensor and let that vehicle out.

Please use other gates to exit the property and notify security regarding the suspicious vehicle waiting to exit. Thank you for your cooperation.
