 Aerification June 2023 |
We have had a productive month so far as we have begun our “Summer Maintenance,” which includes fairway and tee aerification, verticut, and topdressing of greens. We will continue throughout the summer as the golf courses transitions leading up to fall overseed. We thank you for your patience and understanding as these standard practices will only improve our course conditions for the upcoming season. As we have notified, the majority of the maintenance will be on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday of each week.
Week of June 18, 2023
- We will continue aerifying fairways and tees on selected holes on the South Course. This week we will do holes 13, 15, 17, and 18.
- We will fertilize holes 13, 15, 17, and 18.
- We will verticut and topdress greens on the North and South Courses.
- Continue working on weeding and edging of bunkers.
- There will be fire ant treatment by the Vector Control on the North Course on June 22, and the South Course on June 23.
Week of June 25, 2023
- Aerifying fairways and tees on the South Course, holes 1, 5, 7, and 9.
- Fertilize holes 1, 5, 7, and 9.
- Continue working on weeding and edging of bunkers.
- Topdress greens on the North and South Courses.
