Citizens Helping Indio Police (CHIP)

Good Morning Neighbors,

The Indio Police Citizens Helping Indio Police (C.H.I.P.) program is actively looking for volunteers. The CHIPs Program assists the police department by conducting neighborhood patrols, traffic control, crime prevention programs, parking enforcement (issue citations) and other administrative and logistical tasks.

They also are involved in crime prevention efforts and liaison with many of the community groups in Indio. Additionally, CHIPS are an invaluable resource during our concerts and many festivals. The possibilities are endless!

If you have 4 hours a week, a clean background and a strong desire to serve your community, we want you to join the multi-generational CHIP program.

See the attached flyer for additional details or call Ben Guitron at (760) 391-4037.

Regards,

Sgt. Marshall
