Beginning May 18, the Men's golf Club Board is putting in place a temporary rule for play on the South Course. All play on the course will be "lift, clean & place" (Preferred lie) on fairways only, no closer to the hole. This rule will be in effect until the course closes for 5 weeks on September 21.
From May 18 through September, the course will undergo extensive maintenance for the purpose of improving the long term playability of the course. There may be some disruption to play -- but this work is vital to the improvement of our fairway conditions. Please be tolerant.
We look forward to a much improved course when it reopens on November 1.
