Big News! The South Course Refresh Project was approved.
The Board and the Finance Advisory Committee have greenlighted a construction bid from Integrity Golf Course Construction for $2,184,715.This project will be funded by the replacement fund.
Project Goals:
- Reduce ongoing maintenance costs
- Lower water usage
- Enhance the beauty and playability of the course
What’s Included:
- Bunkers:
- Approximately 40% of existing bunkers will be eliminated
- Remaining bunkers will be renovated
- Greens:
- Restoration of original green size
- Regrading of collars
- Adjustment of irrigation heads to proper height
- Irrigation:
- Corrective work around greens and bunkers
- Fairway Drainage:
- Installation of a new drainage system on fairways 1, 2, 5, 6, 8, and 9 to address inadequate drainage
Beverage Golf Cart
To better serve our 12 upcoming outside tournaments, a used beverage golf cart has been approved for purchase.
Open House/Directional Signs on Common Area Approved
To promote home sales, the Board has approved brown and tan directional/open house signs for use on common areas. This will help prospective buyers while keeping our community looking great.
Three Turbine Blowers for use on the golf courses
The Board approved the purchase of three Turfco Torrent turbine blowers, for a total of $38,428.99, for use on the golf courses.
Asphalt Pavement Project – NPG Asphalt
The Board accepted the proposal from NPG Asphalt to conduct the asphalt overlay, surface seal coating, restriping of Avenida Sombra/SC Boulevard with reflective beads, and remedial repairs of immense road cracks, for a total of $577,177. Additional information regarding scheduling and specific areas to be worked on is forthcoming.
