Classic Movie Club: The Manchurian Candidate (1962)

The CLASSIC MOVIE CLUB presents:

Free bi-monthly screenings every other Friday of Academy Award-winning and nominated films to be shown in the latest remastered Blu-ray editions on a big theater-style screen using a state-of-the-art 4K high-definition video projector.

On Friday, May 22, 2026 at 3:00 PM in the Santa Rosa Clubhouse’s Monterey Room, the club will present:

“THE MANCHURIAN CANDIDATE” – the 1962 film directed and produced by John Frankenheimer, and starring Frank Sinatra, Laurence Harvey, Janet Leigh, and Angela Lansbury. It was nominated for several Academy Awards and was selected for preservation in the United States National Film Registry by the Library of Congress as being “culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant.”

To enhance our communal moviegoing experience, complimentary snacks will be provided, and if you want, you can bring your own food and beverages. Also, at each club screening, there will be a free giveaway of classic movie DVDs.
