The restoration of the Montecito Outdoor Pool & Spa Deck is scheduled to commence on Tuesday, September 12. The Montecito Outdoor Pool & Spa will be closed beginning Tuesday, September 12 and reopen on Saturday, November 18. The closure will ensure the completion of the restoration of the pool and spa deck, as quickly, safely, and efficiently as possible. During this time, the Montecito Indoor Pool & Spa and the Santa Rosa Pool & Spa will be open during regular hours of operation.

We have received some concerns regarding the upcoming pool deck restoration. In an effort to guarantee a successful reconstruction of the Montecito Outdoor Pool Deck, the project is best suited to be completed in the early fall, when the weather is most favorable. The project will consist of removing the pool deck concrete, replacing the failed underground drainage system, and installing a new concrete deck with an overlay cool-deck system. For effective results, it is required by the overlay manufacturer, that the cool-deck system be installed 30-days after the new concrete foundation has fully cured and when temperatures are between 60°F to 90°F. For these reasons, the ideal time to install the new overlay cool-deck system is in the fall, thereby preventing a lengthy pool closure during the spring and summer when the pools are most needed.
