Relaxing Music with Beautiful Nature

Wine Tip of the Week

The Wine Aroma Wheel is a visual representation of the most common wine aromas.

This wheel is a great companion during wine tasting. Whether you are a beginner or a wine connoisseur, the Wine Aroma Wheel will assist you in the identification process of aromas contained in the complexity of your wine.

In a typical wine tasting process, you will first need to define which aroma families are present in your wine (fruits, flowers, vegetal…). Then, the Wine Aroma Wheel will help you narrow down the aroma family to a more precise aroma subfamily (citrus, red berries, dry herbs, nuts…) to finally the exact aroma itself. You simply need to start from the first inner ring of the wine aroma wheel and move towards its largest ring, which suggests many aromas that can describe the taste of your wine.

President’s Message: Pools will Open on May 4

Kim Fuller
President

Good Morning Residents:

The County is now allowing pools at HOA’s to operate. The Board and staff have worked out a plan to open the pools by reservation only. We will open the pools for one person to swim at a time beginning May 4. We will begin taking reservations for swimming in one of the pools starting today at 1 pm. See the attached instructions on how to make a reservation, it can only be done by phone. We will make the pools ready for use and have staffing available to ensure these guidelines are met.

Here are the Restrictions for your review:

Can private pools, like those in a gated housing development or apartment building, remain open?

Yes, private pools, including those in an HOA, apartment complex, hotel, motel, and country club, are permitted to operate for single occupancy only (one swimmer at a time), regardless of size or volume of pool. No gatherings around the pool are permitted.

All outdoor furniture in pool areas must be removed or stacked/chained in such a manner that furniture is rendered unusable. Drinking fountains and showers must remain closed and roped off from use. High touch areas such as handrails, restroom surfaces, light switches, dispensers, faucets, and doorknobs must be sanitized frequently.

Pools shall continue to be maintained in accordance with all County laws and regulations to ensure proper chemicals and safety measures are present. More information on pool safety can be found online at: https://rivcoph.org/coronavirus

Have a great day and stay safe.

Thank you.

Kim Fuller
President

Community Mask Project

Our community owes a huge debt of gratitude to the people listed below who have given their time and talent to create 2,250 masks for the residents of our community. Fantastic!!! This includes everyone who assisted with the cutting, bagging, printing, organizing, making/taking all the phone calls and online information, as well as those sitting at the sewing machines!

On behalf of the Board and all our residents we would like to acknowledge the tremendous effort of all these volunteers with special thanks to Cheryl Taylor and the Needles & Pins Club for coordinating this project.

We also appreciate the extra effort of our employees: Connie King, Veronica Moya, Elizabeth Gutierrez, and Gerry Reyes who distributed these masks to our residents.

Thank you to every volunteer for everything you have done to help keep our community safe and well. SCSH is indeed a wonderful community!
